Just Be Yourself

 I am not usually in front of the camera.  I have a love for taking pictures not for being in pictures.  I take 10 selfies before I find one I like and even then I may not end up even using the photo.  But on this particular day; I found myself on the other side of the lens…

When I came home from Church my 3 year old  grandson thought I looked cute.  He grabbed a cell phone and said “Smile Jamma!” Now I’ll admit I was thrown off and at first I stood there looking like a deer in headlights.

I was stiff and posed like a mannequin.

But then I did like I tell my clients…

“Just Relax and Let’s Have FUN!”

I looked at his little smiling face and all of my reservations just melted.   The job of a good photographer is to get you out of your self so that your true you can shine through in the photos.  Jaxon did just that and in his photo shoot you can see who I am and that our relationship is one of love, laughing,  playing around and just having fun with each other.

In his  “Just Be Yourself” photo shoot, he has done what I strive to do with my clients.  Create an atmosphere were the essence of the people involved shines through.  To get them to relax and enjoy our time together.  To just embrace the moment, let go, have fun and JUST BE YOURSELF!!
